And then there were five

When the writ dropped on August 2, there were only two Candidates for the Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies electoral district: incumbent Bob Zimmer and Todd Keller, representing the Libertarian party.

But in the last month, the Liberals have fielded Matt Shaw as their candidate, while the Green Party has Elizabeth Biggar running for them.

The latest candidate to declare is Kathi Dickie of Fort Nelson, who will be running for the NDP. Dickie is the former chief of the Fort Nelson First Nation’s council, and currently sits as a member.

Candidates have until September 28 to register.
