Tuesday 15th September saw the Tumbler Ridge Community Centre packed with approximately 200 residents who came to check out 2009/10 offerings for Mass Registration Night. This is an annual event and allows local groups and organizations to offer programs and services from Karate to Community Gardens. The two-hour event started at 7pm with 24 clubs and organizations represented.

Citizens On Patrol (COP) had a working speed gun with display showing passer-bys their speed at the entrance of the Community Centre.

One of the new kids on the block, Tumbler Ridge Gymnastics, was a big hit, with a crowd gathered around their table most of the evening. Chad McDowell, Gymnastics Coach reports that 30 plus children have signed up for the 17 week season.

The event was a success with residents both young and old coming out to join the impressive range of recreation, sports, social and general interest groups clubs and societies in Tumbler Ridge.
