On behalf of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon?s Prince George Area Office, I would like to take this opportunity to offer heartfelt thanks to the people of Tumbler Ridge for their continuing support of the Foundation during our annual Big Bike fundraising event. This year in your community, enthusiastic riders and the generous donors who sponsored them put their hearts into it and raised more than $10,258.00 for vital heart and stroke research.
The Big Bike is one of the Heart and Stroke Foundation?s most FUN-raising fundraising events. Causing a commotion wherever it goes, the event is named after the BIG 30-seat BIKE. Teams made up of 29 enthusiastic riders and one driver (provided by the Heart and Stroke Foundation) pedal through over 200 communities, across nine provinces raising funds, attention and laughs along the way.
Once again, I would like to thank the community of Tumbler Ridge. With your help we are moving one step closer to achieving our vision of generations free from heart disease and stroke.
Sincerely, Suzanne Anderson
Area Manager, Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon
