VICTORIA – Blair Lekstrom officially began his second term representing Peace River South in the provincial legislature after being sworn in Thursday in Victoria.
?Representing the people of Peace River South for the past four years has been a privilege, and I?m honoured the voters have asked me to continue representing them for another four,? says Lekstrom. ?We?ve come a long way in recent years, but there?s still more work to be done. I?m looking forward to tackling that work, and helping move our region forward.?
Thursday?s swearing in marks the start of Lekstrom?s second term as MLA for Peace River South, after he was first elected in 2001.
?The residents of the Peace River region have charged me with being their voice in Victoria, and I plan to continue to speak up and bring forward their concerns and issues,? says Lekstrom.
