The Chamber of Commerce office has been slow for the past few weeks as office manager Dawn Pouliot has been away on vacation, but Chamber members are still busy getting ready for the Mine Managers breakfast on October 7 and the trade fair at the Coal Forum on October 8. Special thanks to Amanda Barker from Amanda?s Bookkeeping Services for manning the phone calls and selling breakfast tickets. Your help has been much appreciated.
The business trade fair should be a fun filled event with a total of 31 tables booked to showcase some of the businesses in Tumbler Ridge. We encourage residents to come and check out what our local economy has to offer. You might be surprised at what shopping and doing business locally can do for you. Remember in business and lifestyle we are the peak of the Peace!
