Janet Hartford is the leading spirit behind the Tumbler Ridge Craft Fair which is held each year in November. It is an opportunity to shop for unique and beautiful things that are not offered in your local stores. Proceeds from the fair are used to purchase equipment or toys for the swimming pool that is outside of the conventional budgets. The money raised in previous years has just purchased a wheelchair for the pool.
Over the next few weeks we will be featuring a few of the craftspeople who will be marketing their products at the fair.
The Grizzlies are the work of Marshall and Jane Keast of Tumbler Ridge. They have a deep love and appreciation of the outdoors which is reflected in the photos that they have for sale. Jane says that most of their photos are in a 8×11? or smaller format, and they have 60 framed pictures at present. They will be offering signed originals at the Craft Fair.
Jane and Marshall are retired, moving to Tumbler Ridge from Fort Nelson this spring although they purchased their house here three years ago. Residents are invited to stop at the Keast table during the fair and have a look at what they have to offer.
