Comments from Bob Norman ? Cpl Peats Farewell Party

Bob and Delores Norman attened the event held at the Community Centre, and had this to say about the evening

?Yes, the event was handled very ably by the Musical Ride Committee. I would estimate that there was about 120 people present. Harry Prosser was an excellent Master of Ceremonies, and obviously had had a lot of ?inside information? about Kurt?s antics from Kurt?s wife Gwen.

Renee Doonan read a very touching poem, and Rose Colledge adopted one of her many stage personas in the form of the Detachment?s new chief. She was arrested by Constable Wade Harvey and carried off over his shoulder.

Kurt was presented with framed pictures of the Town Hall and Monkman Falls, as well as a large shiny alarm clock, which Harry said was to wake him up at the end of his shift in Dawson Creek.?
