Elementary students reach out to children in Cambodia

Three kids in Ms. Bertrand class collected a bunch of art supplies and clothes of all sizes and filled a big, big, backpack with all of it and then said goodbye as it all heads for a new home.

Actually, Rob Mandeville, uncle to one of the kids came into class to collect the bag and deliver its contents to some kids in Cambodia at the Sunrise Children?s Villages (www.sunrisechildrensvillage.com)

Before leaving the class though Rob took a few photos and shot some video messages from the kids here in Tumbler Ridge which will be played for the kids in Cambodia. Rob then spent the rest of the hour answering kids questions about Cambodia and the orphanages, and what life is like there.

Rob is arriving in Bangkok on Nov. 1 and in Cambodia on Nov.3. You can follow his adventures there at
