GRIZFEST IS CLOSER THAN YOU THINK!

Are you wearing your Grizfest T-Shirt on Fridays? For the month of June Grizfest has their T-Shirts on sale for $15.00 a 25% saving. We are encouraging the community and businesses to wear a Grizfest T-Shirt on Fridays to help promote and advertise one of the biggest events in our community. T-Shirts can be purchased at the front desk of the Community Centre.

The Grizfest committee has been working hard this year to bring you a program that is diverse musically and pleasing to your ear. Advanced tickets are on sale at the Community Centre at a reduced rate until July 15. Don?t? miss out on your chance to enjoy some of the great musical talent Grizfest has booked.

54-40 will rock the stage as our main headliner Saturday, July 31. But don?t miss out on the great performances of Allen Dobb who originally comes from the Beaverlodge area and will bring us a blend of roots, country and blues. The Ecclestons will liven up the stage with the sheer exuberance of their performance of Canadian Celtic music at its best. Stand Together formerly know as Ragged Glory the Peoples Choice winners from Grizfest 2003 will once again give a crowd pleasing performance. Rose Ranger with her hauntingly beautiful voice , The Twisters bringing us jump, swing and blues. We also have for the children?s entertainment Rick Scott an award-winning singer, songwriter and dulcimer player who is known around the world for his lively, original music.

Sunday, August 1 brings our headliner Jake Mathews who has firmly established himself as one of the bright new stars on the Canadian country music scene. Decaphony (Fort St. John choir) will be returning to the Grizfest stage. Decaphoney performed at the the First festival in 2002. The Plaid Tongued Devils who have become one of Canada?s most popular touring bands, tearing up dance floors, across Canada and Europe extensively, with their patented sound that combines Klezmer , Roma and cabaret with rock, pop, jazz and ska. And much, much more great music.
