Happy Hookers are knitting for a cause

Ellen Sager commented that, ?It would be nice if you could put something in the paper and perhaps we can get some yarn donated. I have been doing chemo caps of late and sending these to Compassion House in Edmonton where Val Petrequin went for her chemo therapy. She said that a lady made hats and they were given to the patients. I contacted this lady and she is a lovely person and sent me patterns for hats that are great. I have been making hats for Compassion House and then I made some children?s sizes for Stollery Children?s Hospital. So the yarn I get is well used. Happy Hookers meet on Wednesday?s from 1-4pm, Room One. There is a $2 drop in fee.
