The Tumbler Ridge Elementary and Secondary School Parent Advisory Council is extending an open invitation to parents to attend a 2-hour workshop about School Planning Councils to be held on February 16 at 3 p.m. in the TRSS Library.

Admission is free of charge. The workshop is part of PAC Ed. – an education and development workshop series initiated by the BC Confederation of Parent Advisory Councils (BCCPAC). This workshop offers parents the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills they need to become more effectively involved in their school communities through the new School Planning Councils (SPCs).

The workshop will be facilitated by Tammy Gyselinck. For information on registration, please call Linda Helm at 242 3984 by February 13.

BCCPAC represents the collective view of Parent Advisory Councils in BC. It promotes and enhances meaningful parent participation at the school, district and provincial levels.
