At the Committee of the Whole meeting held January 11,2005 Mayor and Council directed Administration to schedule the 2005 budget proposal and review meetings. They are Monday Jan 24,Wednesday Jan 26, Monday Jan 31, Wednesday Feb 2. All meetings begin at 6:00pm till 9:00pm. A number of people in this community complain or are concerned about how their tax dollars are spent. Bring a pillow(for your seat) and your knitting and learn how this council intends to spend your money. Coffee will be provided. You will then have an opportunity to submit your concerns in writing before the budget is finalized and passed.

Ask yourself

Is it REASONABLE? Is it RESPONSIBLE? Is it REQUIRED? Is it RESPECTFUL of the taxpayers? What benefit does the community receive from these proposed expenditures?
