The Spca staff and the animals in our care would like to extend a huge thank you to the children over the past weekend who took it upon themselves to use their allowances to purchase items for the shelter as well as donate money. We would also like to thank Ross at Peace Country Automotive and all the staff there for so graciously helping us out with our vehicle situations. Not only did Ross tow our van to the shop he and the staff donated the time and parts. Thank you very much. We would also like to extend a huge thank you to the people from P.A.L.S in Chetwynd for always donating toys and food numerous times throughout the year.

I would like to personally thank all the people who have come in to walk dogs and cuddle the kitties this New Year and in the past. Anyone wishing to take a dog on a run while they jog, or just for fun, please do not hesitate to come down and see us. Donations are not just monetary! Walking a dog, sitting in a kennel or simply cuddling cats are all other ways the community can donate. Please feel free get ?your pet fix? with our dogs and cats, if you are unable to own one of your own.

The Spca is also in dire need of volunteers for other things such as fundraising. We have many ideas and are welcome to new suggestions. If you have spare time or are able to work from home, please stop in and offer your help. The staff are too busy most times to focus on fundraising and without it we run the risk of not having enough money to continue to provide for those abandoned or forgotten.

Thank you again to everyone who has helped us in the past and continues to do so.
