Jack be Nimble, Jack be Quick, Jack jump Over the Tumbler Ditch. On Thursday, after finding a spot not roped off, you had to hop, step and jump through the ditch with loose gravel and, on the other side the grass, if you were going into the Medical Clinic. Then you had to do the same trick on the way out. A mother with babe in arms, elderly folk, someone with a broken leg, someone with a walker; all, I am sure would find this challenging.

The solution. Never hire the contractor who is working on the street again. Why would the contractor be allowed to dig the ditch and not provide safe access to the Medical Clinic? Access for the emergency vehicles was also affected. Was it the contractor or the District that thought everyone including the emergency vehicles were nimble and could jump over the ditch? And to those in their wheelchairs that need to go to the clinic, just give it a try and see how far you get.

What kind of contract was signed? Just dig the ditch and don’t worry about any accesses. Every company should have that contract.

Jack be Nimble, Jack be Quick, Jack fire contractor, quick, quick, quick.
