From conversations with some of my fellow TR Residents, it appears there may be some misunderstanding regarding choosing council members on the ballot. It is the general feeling that one must vote for six candidates on the council ballot. At the October 24th All Candidate Forum, moderator Fred Banham reviewed the eligibility and voting procedures for the up-coming election. Those attending were informed that when casting your ballot for councilors, you can vote for anywhere from one to six names. Therefore, if you feel strongly in favor of, let?s say, only three of the candidates, then mark only those names on your ballot. This does not spoil the ballot; only voting for over six would do so. For those who may have missed the forum, this may serve to clarify this important point.
