Todd Keller, grew up in Kelowna, BC, graduating high school in, Penticton, BC, where he was active in many organized sports including Skiing, Soccer, Baseball, Football and Hockey, eventually earning a try-out with the, Vancouver Voodoo Professional Roller Hockey Club, Coached by the legendary, Tiger Williams. He earned a Technical Certification in Autobody Repair from Okanagan College in Kelowna, and later a Technical Certification in, Architectural/Structural Drafting, at, Kwantlen Polytech, in, Richmond, BC, leading to work with award winning Architects and Engineers of on a wide range of building projects in, BC’s Lower Mainland.
Following his precious metals investment hobby, Todd, made a move into the gold business, eventually becoming a, Brokerage Agent, arranging for the smelting, assaying, purchase, shipping and dispossession of placer gold from, Yukon, based gold mining firms. Later, as Gold Mining activity dwindled in 2001, Todd, made a move south into a booming NE BC oil and gas Services sector. As Conventional natural gas projects gave way to Shale Gas Projects Todd’s career led him from traditional oilfield service field work to Oilfield Services Sales & Marketing in Calgary, Alberta. Todd now owns a home in Fort St. John, BC, where he works as a Field Supervisor for oil and gas related projects and consults on various Gold Mining projects in the Yukon.
A deep working knowledge of both the Gold Mining, and, oil and gas, businesses coupled with a profound dissatisfaction with government in, Canada, led, Todd, to become involved in politics. As a dedicated, lifelong libertarian, Todd has joined the Libertarian Party of Canada, in the hopes of educating the Canadian public about what libertarianism is and why true laissez-faire Capitalism is best for industry and individuals alike.
