Local Order of the Royal Purple hosts Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Sunday was gray and overcast, but that didn?t stop the ladies from the Order of the Royal Purple putting on a fantastic Easter egg hunt for the children of Tumbler Ridge.

Around 200 children and adults came down to the Tumbler Ridge Senior Secondary soccer field, in search for the 1,000 chocolate eggs hiding in the grass. With age groups ranging from as young as two years old all the way up to 12, the eggs were quickly found and there were all smiles all around.

The organization hopes that this is the first of what will become an annual event for Tumbler Ridge children.
