Looking for photos of ?Reuse in the Garden?

Waste Reduction Office is looking for photographs of the many creative ways Peace region residents have reused items in their garden.

Recycle garden art is a creation made from items already used for another purpose?.something fun, something imaginative and maybe useful. Wind chimes made from old pipe, copper tubing or eating utensils is good example of recycled garden art.

Reuse in the garden also has a very practical value. Coloured glass can be used to outline pathways and old leather boots as planters. Attractive plant stands can be made from old chairs by placing planters on the seats.

?I saw some fabulous examples of reuse and recycling in the garden on the recent garden tour? said Sally Emory, Program Director, ?and I am looking forward to seeing other ideas.?

Email photographs to prrdy@telus.net or mail them to Waste Reduction Office, 9917-104 Street, Fort St. John, BC V1J 6B9.

All photographs will be posted on the PRRDy website, www.prrdy.com. There will be a random draw for prizes for entries received before September 30, 2004.
