Mayor Caisley and the Town Council were the guests of the Tumbler Ridge Museum Foundation on January 25th in the Peace Region Palaeontology Research Centre. They were given a tour of the facility and a comprehensive information package, briefed on the Museum Foundation?s progress to date and its future plans for the community and province.
The Museum Foundation will be giving an illustrated presentation on its 2005 research discoveries, and its achievements and aims, in the Library on February 8 at 7 pm, with an opportunity for the public to ask questions. The 37 inch screen donated by the Credit Union for the Interactive Exhibit will be formally opened just before the presentation. Fossils may be brought in for identification by palaeontologist Rich McCrea at the end of the presentation.
