Service Canada was supposed to come to Tumbler Ridge in late November for a mobile outreach visit. The visit would be an opportunity for community members and businesses to talk with Service Canada about what our community needs in terms of community services here in town. For example, a BC Jobs centre or a place to get passports, health cards or driver’s licenses renewed.
The rescheduled planned date for the mobile outreach service visits to Tumbler Ridge is February 1, 2013. Planning is underway to confirm specific times. The visit will take place at the Community Centre in room one.
Scheduled and mobile outreach services are those services offered when Service Canada staff travel to communities on a scheduled or occasional basis. Scheduled outreach services are provided to communities on a regular, part-time basis (e.g., two days a week).
