The Tumbler Ridge Museum Foundation's newest exhibit was put up on Thursday, June 8 in the downstairs portion of the Community Centre on freshly painted walls.
The exhibit features a photographic portfolio from 1939-39 by Reg Leake, the official photographer of the Monkman Pass Highway Association. The photos include magnificent scenic shots as well as memorable moments of the trail crew at work. Richard Brooks, Janet Hartford and Donald Watson kindly allowed the scanning and reproduction of their original Leake photos. Thanks to the Community Centre for the generous use of their wall space for the TRMF exhibits.
