New digs for News is news for News

The Tumbler Ridge News has moved.

As of September 1, the News, formerly located at 120-230 Main Street will be located in Unit 214-200 Main Street, across from Shop Easy, in the old Cup-a-Suarus location, beside the former Sears.

While the location has changed, everything else remains the same, including phone numbers and the same great (sic) coverage of local news and events.

The new location is smaller than the previous location, located in the building next door, but with some mad Jenga skills, everything fits in the new space.

This is the third location for the news in the last decade.

Previous to occupying 120-230 Main Street for five years, the offices were located upstairs at 235 Front Street, where the News operated since 2005.

And previous to that, the offices were located in the basement of publisher Loraine Funk since its founding.

A grand opening of the new office is planned later in this month. All are invited to show up, though preferably not all at once as the new office is smaller than the previous office.

But, of course, everyone is welcome to stop in at any time, to pass along news tips, ask about previous articles, or just to say hi.
