The Royal Purple of Canada, is pleased to announce that the response, by interested Ladies in the community, to our information evening was successful and plans to form a local Royal Purple Lodge in Tumbler Ridge will proceed.
The Royal Purple is a National, Fraternal, charitable Women?s Organization that identifies and addresses Community needs through volunteer efforts of its members.
We are well known for our commitment to the community- but a key aspect of belonging to the Royal Purple is the opportunity for interaction with others who have similar interests and objectives. Creating a greater awareness for women and their
contributions to the community is one of the goals. We offer Ladies the opportunity for personal growth, for friendship, to identify and address community needs and services,
and to become a leader at a local, provincial or national level.
Supporting the principles of charity through financial support for the Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children is our key focus of endeavour. Our mission is to help any child in need, locally, regionally and nationally.
We invite the Ladies of Tumbler Ridge to an organizational meeting, to be held on Monday, April 19, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. Coffee will be served. Location is Room One of the Tumbler Ridge Community Center, 340 Front Street.
Beverley Dukart, a Past National President as well as some of the members of the Prince George Royal Purple will be in attendance to organize the Tumbler Ridge group.
Come and hear how ?You can make a difference…. by belonging to a fraternity which explores mutual interests while working together in community service.?
