CMS Science Fair
On February 13, CMS hosted it?s own Science Fair. Students competed for the opportunity to represent CMS at the Regional Science Fair in Fort St. John in March. The students for Mrs. Graff?s class got excited about Science, got involved at CMS and should be very proud of their accomplishments. This class of grade seven students were not only part of a morning of judging, but several Science challenges as well. Many prizes were awarded for participation and success that ranged from calculators to glow in the dark yo-yos. This enthusiastic class will also be taking part in a free lunch to recognize their efforts. On behalf of the Science Fair committee of Mr. McKechnie, Mrs. Graff, Mr. Mowat and Mr. Kolkea, congratulations on a job well done.
We would like to congratulate Lindsey Woolf from CMS for her winning design for the 2009 Regional Science Fair. Lindsey will receive an I-pod Touch, lapel pin and a t-shirt with her winning design.
Encourage the teens you know to join Sogo Active and they may be able to carry the Olympic Flame in Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay. Sogo Active is all about inspiring teens to get moving and have fun. It?s all about getting 13 to 19 year-olds to try different ways to get active together.
All they have to do is visit www.SogoActive.com , sign up, and they?ll automatically get nominated to be a torchbearer.
