Over $10,000 distributed to Tumbler Ridge grads

Tumbler Ridge students scored big during the grad ceremonies held Friday, June 20.

Kelsey Steeves walked away from the ceremony with a full scholarship for four years to UNBC.

Vadah Hartwig was awarded a $4000 bursary from LakeView Credit Union, $1000 each year for four years, while Diana Smith received a $1000 bursary from LakeView.

Three students—Eddie Yau, Kelsey Steeves and Vadah Hartwig were each awarded $1000 from the Tumbler Ridge Lions Club, while Vadah and Tallas Munro also received $750 bursaries from the Royal Canadian Legion in Tumbler Ridge.

Four students—Carlson Traverse, Junior Jones, Sydney Blunden and Kara Trim, received $1000 awards from the Dogwood District Authority.
