Vancouver, B.C.: The Pacific National Exhibition is launching the largest recruitment program in its history in a bid to fill over 1000 Fair time and seasonal jobs.
The PNE is looking to find the very best people for both Playland and the annual Fair. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply on-line at www.pne.bc.ca. From those applications qualified individuals will be invited to an innovative first interview program.
Designed to identify outgoing, enthusiastic team players, the interview will consist of applicants being divided into teams of ten and then given a series of interactive games, puzzles and challenges. The group will have an allotted amount of time to complete the tasks and will be observed by expert facilitators who will then make hiring recommendations.
The PNE is the largest employer of youth in the province, and encourages young people, with or without previous job experience, to apply to work at the PNE. The PNE has provided valuable first job experience for tens of thousands of British Columbians, and many of the corporation’s current full-time staff began as Fair time and seasonal employees.
Interviews will be held on Friday, June 11th, from 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturday, June 12th, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sunday, June 13th, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. If you are enthusiastic, energetic and want to work, apply at www.pne.bc.ca.
