The Quintette Mo Bros raised $12,273, pushing them into the top one percent of teams across Canada raising funds for Movember.

The 16 member team also placed top on the Teck Resources network, a corporate challenge between 11 different divisions of Teck.

All together, the Teck network raised $52,003 towards Men’s Health, with a total of 172 members taking part in the challenge.

Buzz Vandale was the top fundraiser in the overall Teck challenge, raising $3,890, “for my brother Art.”

As of noon on Nov. 30, the Quintette Mo Bros were Ranked 192 out of a total of 23,382 teams in the country.

Ray Proulx, another Mo Bro, says that, while Movember brought out the competitive spirit in many of the participants, there were larger issues at stake. “While it was phenomenal to come out on top of our friendly internal Teck competition, we’re honoured to have been able to contribute so much to the improvement of men’s health across the Nation,” says Proulx. “The MoBro connection runs far and wide – we’ve got to keep looking out for each other.”
