The long-anticipated, much ballyhooed Quintette Reunion happened this weekend.
A few hundred former residents of Tumbler Ridge returned home for the event, which featured lots of laughter, a few tears, and many many embraces as old friends saw each other for the first time in years.
“An absolutely amazing weekend,” writes Debbie Hoffman on the Quintette Reunion Facebook Page. “So worth the trip to come back and see everyone after so many years.”
The event was organized by Karen Connelly and Marg Wheeler. On Friday night, folks gathered in the Curling Rink for a meet and greet.
Saturday saw activities all day, with a pancake breakfast, a golf tournament, a steak supper and a dance.
“Thanks to everyone who came out to make such a special night,” says Wheeler.
