Overnight between January 3 – 4, 2013, a shop van located at the Hassler Creek logging site was broken into. As a result, $60 to $70 thousand dollars worth of logging parts and equipment were stolen. Some of this equipment includes hydraulic cylinders, a Honda generator, hydraulic fittings and hoses and dies for a Parker hose press in addition to many other parts. This equipment is very important for the logging business and some of the tools and equipment can no longer be replaced.

The investigation is on going, however, a suspect/s have not yet been identified. the owners of these stolen parts and equipment are offering a reward for the identity of suspects and return of equipment.
