RCMP News Release

The Chetwynd RCMP is seeking assistance from the public in identifying person(s)  responsible for a theft of machinery which occurred between 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13th, 2013 and 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14th, 2013. This theft occurred at a logging site at the 11 km mark on the Caron Creek Rd off of the Hasler Rd west of Chetwynd.

During this incident, unknown person(s) removed the main attachment off of a Tigercat Feller Buncher (see featured image). the Buncher head is very heavy and distinctively shaped. The arm of the Feller Buncher was severely damaged as a result of the removal of the Buncher head by cutting several hydraulic hoses that connect the arm to the Buncher head.
