RCMP Town Hall Meeting
March 16, 2005 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.
On March 16, 2005 the Tumbler Ridge RCMP Detachment is hosting a town hall meeting at the Community Centre. The meeting will be in room 5 and will start at 7 p.m. and will last for about an hour.
This meeting is the first of its kind for the Tumbler Ridge RCMP and the goal is to make this an annual event. The topics to be discussed are a review of Tumbler Ridge?s crime statistics for 2003 compared to 2004, the direction of policing for the upcoming year, a discussion on the delivery of policing services to the community followed by question and answer period.
If you have questions or concerns that you would like addressed, please feel free to submit them to Cpl. Peats at the Tumbler Ridge Detachment. No doubt some of your questions will require research and I would like to have the opportunity to complete this research before the meeting.
One of the main objectives of this meeting is to hear from the citizens of Tumbler Ridge and to solicit your input and ideas on what programs you would like to see instituted.
Come on out and meet the Members of the Tumbler Ridge RCMP Detachment. Coffee and cookies will be served, but no donuts.
Working together for a safe community.
Cpl. Kurt Peats
