The 2007 Rock and Fossil Road Show will take place in the Tumbler Ridge Public Library on January 27th as part of the ?Meet the Museum? day. Anyone with interesting rocks and fossils can bring them in for identification by palaeontogists and geologists. You don?t have to bring rocks to enjoy the show, anyone can come and learn about others? rocks and fossils. Tables open at 12 noon, and the show begins at 2 pm after the presentation by Lisa Buckley on Tumbler Ridge Dinosaurs.

The Rock and Fossil Road Show is presented annually by the Tumbler Ridge Museum Foundation. Previous shows have yielded some fascinating specimens, and contributed to the understanding of the area?s rocks and fossils. While the focus is mostly on rocks from the Peace Region, rocks from anywhere else can also be brought in.
