Small Business Round Table Nomination Invitation

The Small Business Roundtable would like to invite participant nominations for the province-wide Small Business Roundtable Consultations.

To help this sector grow even stronger the Government of British Columbia has created a permanent Small Business Roundtable. The Roundtable wants to ensure that it hears from small business owners from across the province, to listen to your ideas, and take positive action to improve the economic competitiveness of the small business sector. To that end, the Roundtable would like to invite your organization to nominate participants for the small business consultations, listed below.

The Roundtable will be hosting consultations in 12 cities between the months of January and March 2006. (the Peace Region locations are given here)

Small Business Consultations (for the Peace Region)

Nomination deadline for the March consultations is Wednesday, February 22nd.

Monday, March 13th, Fort St.John 1:00pm – 3:00pm and on Tuesday, March 14th, Dawson Creek 1:00pm – 3:00pm

You are invited to nominate up to two small business owners or organization representatives in each Small Business Consultation location.

Please email your nominations to: RoundtableSecretariat@gov.bc.ca by the above noted deadline date. Please include:

?Consultation Location

? Nominee Name

?Nominee Business

? Nominee mailing address

?General Industry or Sector (e.g. retail, agriculture, etc.)

?Nominee Email address and phone number (very important to include)

?Nominator name and organization

Space at the sessions is limited so not all nominees may be able to attend. We will send out an email invitation to a representative sample of nominees if the session is oversubscribed.

In addition to the small business consultations, there will be concurrent Provincial Sales Tax (PST) consultations to which you may also receive a separate nomination email.
