Local author launches new book
Wednesday July 21, 2010 Sylvia Bell grew up in Scotland. Some say that they can ‘hear’ her accent in her writing. Currently, she is a school principal in Chetwynd and finds the company of students invigorating--and exhausting. Children, she says, keep her sense of humour sharp. When she is not working, Bell can be found gardening or doing yoga. Both she claims to do with great enthusiasm but little talent. Bell has three grown children and three grandchildren. She lives with her husband in Tumbler Ridge.
