The Arthritis Society Seeks Travelling Runners

Go the distance to fight against arthritis ? run or walk an international marathon/half marathon or 10K on behalf of someone who has arthritis, or just do it for yourself and achieve a personal fitness goal.

The Arthritis Society?s Joints in Motion training team travels to exciting destinations around the world. Members of the team help the more than 600,000 people living with arthritis in BC and the Yukon by raising funds for arthritis research, education, and programs. Since 1999, the program has raised over $23 million dollars.

Joints in Motion team members will receive:

Return airfare to the event

Shared hotel accommodations

Inspiration in a group training environment

Training program tailored to your fitness level

Participation entry in the event

Team Canada Hero Reception

Fund-raising support and materials

Joints In Motion apparel provided by New Balance

Nutrition and injury prevention counseling
