The Order of the Royal Purple Celebrates Easter

One of the largest crowds in years gathered for The Royal Purple?s Annual Easter Egg hunt that was held on the grounds of TRSS. There was close to 200 children and with family members that number swelled to over 400 in attendance.

The parking lot was divided up for different age groups to gather Easter eggs, making it fair for all ages. This event started promptly at one o?clock and did not take the egg hunters long in removing every single egg from the parking lot. The weather cleared up just in time for the start of this event.

Every child who registered got a prize as Lori Homister called out the numbers drawn for two hundred kids, and that was a feat in itself.

Then the registered names also went into a draw for several brand new bicycles. These draws were also done in age groups right down to toddlers. For the kids there were free drinks, hot dogs, chips and a great assortment of Easter decorated cupcakes for desert.

These ladies did a fantastic job and the assortment of prizes was out of this world especially the number of brand new bikes. This is all volunteer work, events like this is what makes Tumbler Ridge special, big bouquets to the Royal Purple ladies, job well done.
