BINGO – Monday Nights @ Community Centre. Hosted by Lions Club. Doors open @ 6 pm – Bingo begins at 7:00 pm. Bingo does not run on statutory holidays and instead runs on the Tuesday night following.

T.O.P.S. (Take Pounds Off Sensibly) meets every Thursday at the Baptist Church in Commercial Park. Weigh-in takes place 6:00-6:30 pm and the meeting is from 6:30-7::30 pm. Contact Cindy 242-5826 or Lynn 242-3178.

SENIORS FLOOR CURLING – Tuesdays – 1:00 pm – Community Centre (Room 5) – $2.00 drop-in

30Candlelight Celebration – TR Fellowship Baptist Church – 7::00 pm. An evening to honour those loved ones that have passed. Music, readings and more. Contact Sherry Berringer 242-3369


1 CBC Radio Presents: A Christmas Carol . TR Public Library – 7 pm. A reading of the classic tale as presented by guest personality Chris Walker and five local readers from Tumbler Ridge. Refreshments served.

2 Peace Region Film & Photography Exhibition – In preparation for the Banff Mountain Film Festival, Tumbler Ridge Community Arts Council presents regional videographers and photographers works. TR Public Library – 7:00 pm. Guests include Hank Bridgeman of Dawson Creek (TR?s 25th Anniversary), three film works from FSJ and TR?s own Roger Legault. Several works of still photography provided locally and regionally. Refreshments served. Event coordinated by Tammy Pigeon 242-3048.

6 Holly Jolly Christmas ? Community Centre celebrates Christmas ? Children?s Party, Christmas Tree Light Up, and Christmas Concert and Best Baker Contest

7 Banff Mountain Film Festival -TRSS Gymnasium – 7:00 pm. Tickets available at front desk of Community Centre. Advance adult ticket price $10 on or before November 30.

8Market Square – Sell your crafts, baked goods, and garage sale items. Groups and organizations only, no businesses permitted. Book your table (rent) the Friday prior at Community Centre 242-4246. Fireside Lounge 9 am – 4 pm

23Sound of Music – Classic Film Viewing – 7:00 pm – Room 5 – Hosted by Theatre On the Ridge. Bring the whole family and come enjoy this Christmas classic film. Join in with all the songs (songsheets provided) and dress as your favourite character or item in the movie! Great ideas from the song: My Favourite Things. $2.00 donation at the door, as well as non-perishable food item.
