Winterfest 2005

This February, come join the excitement of the first annual pre-festival leading up to the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Throughout Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday, the proposed activities include: Opening Ceremonies, Parade, Bonfire, Winterfest Madness (businesses stay open late), Snow Sculpting Contest (public), Cross Country Skiing & Snow shoeing , Minor Hockey Tournament, Pancake Breakfast, Dog Sled Races, snow games at the golf course, Quilt Guilder?s Display, public Curling events and Sweetheart?s Dance. Coordinated by the Tumbler Ridge Community Arts Council. Please contact brian Bray for more information 242-4333. All events organized by separate groups.
