21 – 23?High On Ice? Winter Carnival in FSJ. (International) Professional Ice Carving on the 21st, Amateur Ice Carving on the 22nd and Snow Sculpting on the 23rd. All held at Centennial Park in FSJ.

FEBRUARY

4 We Love Kids Day ? Starts @ 10:30 am at Community Centre $2/child. Skating, lunch, swimming & drop in hockey

5 49 Forever Dance ? 8:00 pm Community Centre Rooms 4 & 5 – $2/door plus donation for the band. Everyone welcome, but sorry, no minors

11 Winterfest 2005 Opening Ceremonies with guest ? MLA Blair Lekstrom. Parade, snow sculpting, bonfire, hotdogs & hot chocolate, Winterfest Madness (businesses open late).

12 Winterfest ? Pancake breakfast, Minor Hockey Tournament, breakfast at the Golf Course, Dog Sled Races, fun curling events, Quilt Display, snow games at the golf course, evening dance (adults).

13 Winterfest – Minor Hockey Tournament, Dog Sled Races, sleigh rides at the golf course, cross-country skiing and/or snow shoeing (golf course), Closing ceremonies with announcements of winners for both Hockey and Dog Sleds.

14 Sweetheart Swim ? 6:30-8:00 pm Aquatic centre. Bring your sweetheart to the pool and enjoy 2 for 1 admission.

Grizzly Valley Players ? A new adult theatre company starting to form in TR. This group invites everyone over 19 to come out and be part of this new club. Not everyone goes on stage. Extra hands will be needed for backstage work, props, costumes, set design & creation, as well as lighting and sound people. For those who like to do theatre workshops, games, etc. there will be lots of that! Meeting TBA. Please ask for sign up sheet at front desk of Community Centre.
