ABOVE: Katrina Leuze (left), Jacqueline Yau (middle) and Hannah Nelson (right) get down to business on laying out the T.R.E. Times, a local newspaper being produced by Tumbler Ridge Elementary's Grade 5 and 6 class taught by Jennifer Kennedy. The paper will come out on March 16 – just in time for report cards – and will be distributed around the school, to parents, and to those interviewed by the young reporters. It takes a good group of independent workers and students who can talk to adults in order to produce the paper, said Kennedy. Greg Amos photo.
