The orders need to be in by November 10th in order for them to arrive by Christmas. If you are interested in purchasing chocolate from Purdy?s and you do not have a child in school, ask a neighbour who does or pop into the school.
Canadian Tire Money
We are collecting Canadian Tire money as a fund raiser for spring activities. With the money collected, we purchase prizes for various activities so if you have some to donate please bring it to the school.
Christmas Shoe Box Program
The Parent Advisory Council has sent notes home about this valuable charity. It is a chance for us to give to the less fortunate kids around the world. You can donate a whole box of items or individual items. All donations must be in by Nov. 8th.
Volunteer Ears Program The program is up and running for the year. Our students really enjoy reading to our volunteers in the library on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 – 1:00. We are still looking for more helpers so if you have completed a Criminal Record Check and can spare half an hour, the students would be most thankful. Also if you know of a neighbour that does not have school aged children, please encourage them to come and help out! A Criminal Record Check can be obtained from the RCMP Station at no cost!!
