In the Tumbler Ridge?s final game the score was 8-1 in favour of the Fort St. John Flyers, with Katelyn Lehmann scoring Tumbler Ridge?s goal on a breakaway. Krista Trim won the MVP award. This put Tumbler Ridge in third place overall, and each player received a nice trophy. The Tumbler Ridge team was proud to win the trophy for the most sportsmanlike team, which will go on display in the hockey trophy case.

Coach Anita Kruse was impressed with the way all of her players put in their best effort, especially since this is only the second year for the girls team with about half of the players new this year. The girls are looking forward to their home tournament on February 24th and 25th.
