April 17th,

Badminton Tournament

Tumbler Ridge Badminton Club hosting its 4th annual tournament, Saturday April 17th 9:00 – 5:00 at TRSS. $5.00 per event per person.

Mens, Ladies & Youth Singles – Mens, Ladies,Youths & Mixed Doubles. Come enjoy the activities – participate or be a fan.

Please register ahead by April 10th. Call Chris or Rolf at 242 -3351 or the Community Centre at 242-4246.

April 18

?On The Spot Talent Show 2:

on Sunday, April 18th at 1:00 pm at the TRSS gymnasium. Pre-registration is required with forms available at the library and both school offices. There is no set admission, however it is a fundraiser and silver donation is gratefully

accepted.

April 19

Ladies of the Royal Purple- First meeting

Monday, April 19, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. Coffee will be served. Location is Room One of the Tumbler Ridge Community Center, 340 Front Street.

April 24

Events in the Community Centre

Tumbler Ridge Theatre on the Ridge Presents: Freezer Burn ? A Chilly Comedy Saturday, April 24th at 1:00 pm in the Community Centre Rooms 4 & 5 Young People?s Drama, performs their final production for the season. Silver donations welcome.

Off The Wall ? Held all day in rooms 4 & 5. Displays of prints and painting from local residents personal art collections. Artwork will remain up for the weekend. Free admission.

Free For All ? Held all day in and around the Fireside Lounge. Various arts & crafts displayed and for sale, created by local artisans. Free admission.

Cheesecake Cafe ? Held all day in room 1. Come and enjoy cheesecake & beverages, hosted by the TR Library. Costs and selections available on site.

Java Jive Coffee House ? 7:00-10:00 pm in rooms 4 & 5. A great evening in a fun and relaxing environment with a variety of musical entertainment, hosted by TRUMP. $2.00 per adult and kids 12 and under are $1.00. Snacks and beverages available for $1.00 each

Dino Days September 4th and 5th.

Family fun days ? Dino days will kick off on Saturday morning with a parade and pancake breakfast followed by family games and events which will be held on the TRSS Highschool grounds.

Sunday events will be held at Lions Campground. Planned is a music event and family barbeque. Other activities TBA.
