It was a moment of great pride for Tumbler Ridge at the Annual Area Kub Kar Rally which was held at the Totem Mall in Fort St. John on March 11th.
Tumbler Ridge took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for the fastest Kub Kars. Each Cub is given a block of wood from which they must carve out their own racing car. Myles Wagner (center) won 1st place and will keep the race trophy for a year until the next Area Kub Kar Race. Kyla MacNeil (left) won 2nd place and Jacob Webb (right) won 3rd place. These three cars will now go on to the regional races which will be held in first week of April in Terrace, BC.
A total of seven cars from Tumbler Ridge participated in the race with representation also from Dawson Creek, Fort St. John, and Hudson Hope.
