TUMBLER RIDGE TRICK OR TREATERS WILL BE OUT ON OCTOBER 31ST

Children will be out on the streets for Halloween beginning around 3pm, with the peak ending around 7pm. Moterists should take extra care when driving for little people crossing the streets.

The RCMP will nr patrolling, and will be handing out GLOWSTICKS to children. The glow sticks are free of charge with the cost covered by KC Dollar Store and more.

There are may community events that day as well, with the Annual Bonfire beginning at 7pm in the RESCAN PARKING LOT beside the caboose. There will be a weiner roast, and glow sticks will be handed out as well.

The Tumbler Ridge Public Library has several events planned and is hosting a movie night on October 31st, featuring Eight-Legged Freaks, starring David Arquette. There will be popcorn, goodies and of course the free movie.

The Library is also hosting a costume contest. Please drop by the library at any time on the 31st, and get your picture taken. This event is open for young and old. A draw will be made the next day for prizes and winners will be announced.

The Haunted House Lunatic Asulum will be making an appearance from 7pm-10pm in Rooms 3 and 5. Entry charge – $3. Don?t miss the Children of the Corn, a Steven King classic thriller playing at 7:30pm.
