On World Teachers’ Day, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau issued the following statement today:
“Teaching duties are only a small part of the job description for teachers. Every day, they take on many roles as coach, mentor and lawyer. They motivate their students creatively, with big dreams and perseverance. Their intelligence and guidance helps students discover and develop their strengths and make them unique. Helps to choose a career path.Teaching staff, including staff from secondary post-institutional institutions such as adult educators, teaching assistants and professors, go a long way in bringing out the best in everyone and strengthening our communities and community as a whole. World Teachers’ Day, We celebrate the teachers and thank them for giving us their time and energy so that our students can have a better experience so that they can learn and grow.
“Since the onset of the Govt-19 epidemic, the workload on teachers and the pressure on them has increased exponentially. Over the past year and a half, teachers around the world have had to change their teaching style, adjust to virtual and classroom lessons, wear masks and speak louder to enhance learning for every child. We congratulate them on going beyond that. The theme of this year, “Teachers at the Heart of the Educational Renaissance”, focuses on supporting the revival of teachers in the wake of the Govt-19 crisis.
The Government of Canada has taken concrete steps to assist teachers in this difficult time. Last year, we announced an investment of nearly $ 2 billion for the provinces and territories through the Safe Back to School Fund. These funds helped schools transform their learning spaces, improve ventilation, increase hand hygiene, purchase personal protective equipment and cleaning equipment, and provide health and safety training to staff. We also announced an additional $ 224 million over two years to support first countries in implementing social measures to ensure a safe return to school on reserves. As part of our continued commitment to educators, we teach qualified educators to increase the school supply tax concession by 15% and expand eligibility criteria to include technical equipment and devices.
We know that the world is a better and stronger place when teachers around the world have the resources to provide quality education to every child.
“We know that the world is a better and stronger place when teachers around the world have the resources to provide quality education to every child. We set aside.
“From personal experience, I know the sacrifices teachers make and the commitment they make to their students. Across the country, we have exceptional teachers who prepare our youth for a successful future. Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Teaching, STEM excels in education And Excels in early childhood education Pay respect to only a few of the many teachers and educators who show leadership and make a real difference in the lives of their students.
